Course Description:

How can we provide students with strategies to help them build their intelligence, talent, and personality well into adulthood?

Building a growth mindset is more than implementing a curriculum or opening a box of books. It's a belief that could require changing deep-seated understandings about one's self. Having an understanding of mindset, and employing some basic strategies and tech tools will help all educators create an environment that instills growth in children.

Course Logistics:

Course Runs: June 15, 2024 to November 30, 2024

Anticipated Time Commitment: 8-10 hours

Audience: TK-12 Educators, TOSAs, Instructional Coaches, and Site/District Administrators

Due Dates: All assignments are set with a calendar due date of November 30, 2024. Participants are welcome to work at a pace that suits their learning needs.

Graduate Units: This course qualifies for one (1) graduate-level semester unit. Units are offered through University of the Pacific at a cost set by UoP ($50/unit).
